The Studio

The studio is a "safe space"---an open, nurturing environment where each individual in the painting community is whole-heartedly supported and encouraged in their own growth and insight.

The studio resides on the second floor of a Brookside home in Kansas City, MO. The room is large enough to accommodate approximately ten painters at one time.

The community area near the windows is where we hold our opening and closing circles. The opening circle allows us time to get grounded with a short centering meditation. The closing circle is an excellent opportunity to share our experience with the group and receive compassionate support. Community is a very important element throughout the process.
