Closing The closing circle is a valuable time of community-building and reflection. We usually spend the last half hour of the painting session in the closing circle reflecting on our experiences and sharing if we feel led to share. In this safe and supportive community, all experiences are embraced. It's an amazing gift we can give others when we listen to them whole-heartedly, without trying to change or "fix" them. And when others share from the heart, we, in turn, are given permission to do the same.
The spiritual community, or sangha, is an important aspect of any practice, and the same applies to painting. We reflect to each other the truth of that person. And we do so just by our presence alone, without effort.
